Peptide Calculator Syringe Sizes and Scale Markings

What changes when you select a different syringe? The calculator changes the barrel maximum, printed scale, example graduation spacing, and water-transfer plan. It does not change the underlying liquid volume required by the arithmetic.

U-100 barrel relationship 100U = 1 mL 30U = 0.3 mL  ·  50U = 0.5 mL  ·  100U = 1 mL

The option number is the endpoint printed on the barrel. A 30U syringe ends at 30, a 50U syringe ends at 50, and a 100U syringe ends at 100. These are maximum capacities, not peptide quantity or dose strength.

U-100 is an insulin concentration designation. A matching U-100 syringe places 100 unit marks across 1 mL. This calculator uses those printed marks only as volume labels.

mL and cc are equivalent volume units. A 3 mL syringe in this calculator is shown with mL markings, not insulin-unit markings.

Physical products vary. Half-unit and other graduation patterns exist. Always use the markings and labeling on the syringe in hand.

This page explains capacity and scale only

It does not select a syringe, recommend a dose, or provide injection instructions. Confirm the product label and physical barrel with a licensed clinician or pharmacist when anything is unclear.
